How to Measure a Camlock Fitting

Step 1) - Find a tape measure, ruler, or micrometer (preferred) to measure the camlock in your possession.

Step 2) - Using the measuring device, determine the distance of the outside diameter (male) or inside diameter (female) of the camlock fitting.

Step 3) - Refer to the chart at the end of the video, or, at the bottom of this page.

i.e., a 2 inch cam lock will measure roughly 2 1/2 inches in diameter

Female camlock size is determined by measuring the open end or inside diameter of the female camlock. Male camlock size is determined by measuring the outside diameter of the male camlock.
